As you already know Clean Care Scotland are first and foremost a leading contract cleaning company operating across Scotland. For that reason choosing the right commercial cleaning products is important to us as a company and subsequently to our customers that we did cleaning for. But when we started out as an independent group we chose the cleaning products based on what we knew other contract cleaners were using.

I know we made some good choices even then but there were so many commercial cleaning products to choose from all claiming to be the best in the field of commercial cleaning. After some work on ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 we knew we had to look again at what commercial cleaning products were using across all our sites.

As a commercial cleaning company we know that choosing the wrong commercial cleaning products can make a expert cleaner worse than a poor quality staff member with the most effective cleaning products.

Clean Care Scotland has been busy developing and evaluating their staff training methodology under the leadership of its area managers all of whom have been required to work hands on before taking on their management roles.

We KNOW our cleaning staff are some of the most effective cleaners in the country.

However we also know that for properly trained cleaners will be able to generate professional level standards when given the right tools to use and we have spent a number of years researching to make sure we have the right cleaning equipment and commercial cleaning chemical products for them to use.

What did we want in a range of Commercial Cleaning Products?

Not so simple to answer that question.

We needed to ensure that whatever commercial cleaning products were used by our staff they need to fit the following basic criteria.

And as our research was being done during the potential pandemic about Bird Flu and a number of problems in the press about infections being found in hospitals including:

• C.Difficile spores,
• MRSA,
• E.Coli,
• NDM-1,
• TB and
• Adnenovirus

We wanted our commercial cleaning products to be effective against the whole range of those infections.

A difficult task for any cleaning company but we believed — and now know — we can reduce the spread of infections across the offices we clean simply by reducing infections on simple things like door handles etc.

Having seen the scientific facts and saw just how few other commercial cleaning products had been tested by independent bodies we did not want to keep them to ourselves so we have become the master distributor for the full range across the whole of Scotland. No cleaning company can purchase them unless they come through us.

This way we are able to build our brand name and ensure the manufacturing standards are maintained.

We have divided the range initially into two cleaning groups.

Soluclean FS These commercial cleaning products are designed to be used primarily for large floor spaces

Soluclean WS These commercial cleaning products are often used in trigger spray bottles.
